Entry #2: Super Bowl

     Every year, I always watch the Super bowl with my cousins.  Although I'm not really a football fan, I thoroughly enjoy watching American Football.  Just seeing the players play with intensity and grit is something everyone really enjoys watching.  Also, just seeing the players beat each other up throughout the game is entertaining.  This is not the only reason why I enjoy watching the Super Bowl with my cousins, but I enjoy spending time with them before the Super Bowl starts.  We would usually throw the Football and play catch.  We also set up a small barbecue before the game and bring in a lot of snacks.  Also, we would just chat it up and talk about what's been going on with our lives recently.  These days are the type of days I look forward to, enjoying quality family time.

Anyways, enough of me being sentimental, I really WANT the Bengals to win the Super Bowl.  I remember seeing Joe Burrow back in his LSU days, tearing up the college scene as a fifth-year student.  Then, won the National Championship with LSU.  Seeing Joe Burrow in his 2nd year in the NFL and is already in the Super Bowl!  How crazy is that?  I'm more of an underdog/cinderella story type of person and I do believe in miracles!  So I hope the Rams lose since they are the favorite.  In all seriousness, both teams are really good and it looks like it's going to be a very entertaining matchup.  Who are you going for in the Super Bowl?

    good blog entry, i was entertained good topic and straight to the point and you stayed on topic which was good. I dont watch football but im sure it fun to watch and spend time with family. keep up the good work.

    I just posted a blog about the Super Bowl myself, so it cool to see someone talk about it as well. It sucks that the Bengals didn't win, but there is always next year. Liked how you talked about how the Super Bowl brought you and your cousins together. Just hosted a part for my friends who don't even watch football, but it was still fun to watch it with them and they seemed to enjoy watching the game too. The Super Bowl is such a huge national phenomena that brings so many together it is crazy to think about.

Entry #10: Finishing First Year of College

My first year of college is about to come to an end.  I only have roughly about 3 and a half weeks left until my 2nd semester is over and I have to say that it was quite a busy year.  After spending one year here at GCC , I learned a lot about what community college has to offer.  The number one thing is that it's super cheap to attend a community college.  Also, I learned that college is very heavy on the workload.  Back in high school, I remember the workload being a lot less but in college, it's way different.  It took me a while to get used to it, but now it's something casual to do my homework every day of the week.  I learned that classes are tougher than usual, and that to get a good grade, one must be responsible for their effort and turn work in on time. Entry #4: Hiking

  So far I made a huge change in my schedule this semester of college.  With a new schedule comes new struggles but also some free time for yourself.  After a busy first semester of college, I decided to spend more time on myself.  Recently, I've been starting to hike a lot this semester.  After a long day of classes, I always wanted to do something that could release my stress but back then, I never found something that I thoroughly enjoyed.  That's when I came across hiking and I realized hiking has the best of two worlds.  Not only is it a good workout, but walking a trail while watching the scenery is what makes hiking really fun.  Just being able to see nature at its finest.  Seeing the view of the city and especially the sunsets is really the reason why I enjoy hiking.  Anyways, hiking has been helping me maintain my fitness and reducing my stress.  After each hike, I feel like I can take on anything like I acquire more motiva...
